Local MACE retailers, David & Maura O’Reilly of MACE Ballinalack, Co. Westmeath and Jewel Akber of MACE Bettystown were thrilled when they heard recently that they have been shortlisted in the Retail Excellence Ireland #Top100 stores in Ireland. These stores will now progress into Phase 2 for the Store of the Year Award 2023 powered by AIB Merchant Services.
Located on the N4, MACE Ballinalack is a well-known and busy service station, welcoming both local customers and many who are travelling both for work and pleasure. Upgraded with significant investment last year, it includes a fabulous for food’s sake deli, Bewley’s coffee station and an Insomnia barista, Scúp Irish Gelato counter, delicious freshly baked breads and cakes, the MACE Right Options range and a full off-licence, as well as Supermacs.

Local Meath store, MACE Bettystown, opened in November 2022 and according to store owner Jewel Akber, “Our MACE Bettystown store is focused on providing strong offers and fresh food for our customers. We are here to bring convenience and great service to the area and would like to thank the local community for their ongoing support.
This relatively new community store includes a fabulous for food’s sake deli, a Bewley’s coffee station, Smooch ice cream counter, delicious freshly baked breads and cakes, the MACE Right Options Range and a full off-licence.
