To celebrate an outstanding 50 years in business, local Ennis store Talty’s MACE Lissycasey hosted a customer, family, and friend’s celebration event. Retailer Cathal Talty invited the whole community to their celebrations on Saturday April 6th, 2024. Not only did they have the usual store entertainment they also had a special treat for customers with a highly anticipated meet and greet opportunity with MACE Brand Ambassador Johnny Sexton!
Maire and TJ Talty opened the store in1974 providing local services to the community and especially for holiday makers, situated on a busy route to West Clare. The store’s long partnership with MACE goes back to the time of the Mangan Brothers, since then they have strived to expand and invest in the store to keep up with modern day customer needs. From the early days they provided hardware, animal feed and fertiliser to the rural customers but over the years have expanded considerably. In 2010 they introduced a forecourt and in recent years now display a fabulous for food’s sake deli, Bewley’s coffee station, I Scream counter, delicious freshly baked breads and cakes, the MACE Right Options Range, and full off-licence as well as their family hardware store.
