There were great celebrations held in MACE Bettystown when the store was named Convenience Store of the Year at the 2023 ShelfLife National C-Store Awards. The independently judged industry awards are coveted by all and winning Supreme Champion is a crowning achievement. MACE Bettystown is located in a new housing development at Whitefield Hall and run by long time MACE retailer Jewel Akber who joined the group in 2015 and now runs 9 stores across the Meath/ Louth area. Regarding the win Jewel said, “The staff work so hard to ensure our standards are maintained and it is appropriate to acknowledge their hard work. We are thrilled for them as well because this award proves hard work does pay off.”
